Nonprofit Charities in Phoenix

Phoenix has over 20,000 registered nonprofit organizations spanning health, education, housing, arts, and social services.

Many of these Phoenix nonprofit charities are AZ Dept of Rev (ADOR) certified qualified charitiable organizations (QCOs) or foster care organizations (QFCOs). A financial contribution receives a full tax credit towards Arizona income taxes owed.

The official list of QCOs and QFCOs is maintained by ADOR and can be download here in PDF file format. The files contain codes, names and addresses for each nonprofit.

A better way to view, filter, search and discover Phoenix qualified nonprofit organizations is to use our free list directory. Same list of ADOR eligible charities, just a lot more information provided, including an ability to list charities in just the Phoenix area.

These charities play a critical role in addressing community needs, especially in areas like homelessness, foster care, food insecurity, and youth development. Most of them rely on "tax credit donations" for operational funding. Around 225,000 tax filers claimed these two tax charitable credits each year, with about 3.6M total Arizona tax returns filed.

Let's do something wonderful!
